A group of loving and dedicated moms of VS is setting up a daycare in our own neighbourhood to cater the needs of parents that need place for their precious children during working days.
TASKA VILLA SURIA provides daycare for children age 2 months old to 6 years old and transit home for children below the age of 12.
The Taska welcomes everyone to send their children to TASKA VILLA SURIA (F28 Jalan Pulau Angsa U10/49) and to attend the registration on January 1st 2010.

Pamphlet : Security Services (as circulated in mailboxes)
Dear Residents of Villa Suria
Notice of Takeover of Security Services
As you may already be aware – our current security services provided by the developer, Sunway Group, will cease on the 30th of November 2009. Upon the termination of the services, the residents will have to make the necessary arrangements to take over.
The protem committee of the Sunway Villa Suria’s Residents Association have over the past month interviewed and shortlisted possible providers of security services. We, as a committee have made a decision to appoint Delta Force Sdn Bhd, on a trial basis for 6 months.
Delta Force Sdn Bhd will be providing 5 security guards – 2 for the morning shift and 3 for the night shift, each shift with one Nepalese guard, and will make hourly rounds within our area.
They have agreed to a negotiated fee of RM7,000 a month.
To be able to pay for these security services, we believe a nominal fee of RM90 per month per household will suffice, for now (this is based on RM7,000 with the current 88 occupied household, and includes a RM10 a month contribution to the resident’s association).
This fee must be paid by all owners and tenants of our housing community. And to facilitate the collection, we would kindly request that this fee be paid to Encik Yusof (017 364 0008) before the 1st Saturday of each month, the initial payment to be paid by the 3rd of December 2009. (Plans has also been made to make available a collection desk at our current guard house area on the 3rd of December between 4pm and 7pm)
We will be calling for our inaugural AGM to elect the new office bearers to the registered residents association sometime in December, where will present the full accounts and proposed activities for your kind attention.
Please do note that the payment of the security fee is crucial in order that we provide seamless services within our housing area. Should you have questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact En Syed (012 281 6134), Kol. Haji Zainal (019 218 1747) or En Zambri (019 350 1222).

Majlis Sambutan Syawal di Villa Suria
Satu aktiviti gotong royong untuk memasak rendang dan juadah raya yang lain akan diadakan untuk tujuan majlis tersebut. Sesiapa yang ingin menyumbang untuk majlis ini boleh berbuat demikian terus kepada ketua blok masing-masing atau ke Tuan Hj. Zainal. Kutipan untuk setiap keluarga ialah sebanyak RM15 sahaja

The man was stunned but thought that maybe all salesmen like to bullshit and decided to see the agent from Etiqa. He told the Etiqa agent what Prudential and Great Eastern had to offer. The agent thought for a While and then said, "Tell you something, we have one that is even better and lebih 'terer' than Prudential and Great Eastern. We'll insure your child FROM ERECTION TO RESURRECTION"

Aktiviti di bulan Ramadhan : Terawih, Morei, Memasang Pelita dan Aktiviti Mengacau Dodol pada 12/9/09
Seperti yang diketahui, penduduk Villa Suria menumpang Surau di Perdana Height untuk terawih tahun ini dan beberapa penduduk Villa Suria telah bermurah hati untuk menaja morei di surau tersebut. Umat Islam digalakkan untuk turut turun ke surau untuk sembahyang sunat Terawih dan seterusnya menjamu selera di 'morei' yang disediakan. Morei bermula dari 5 sept hingga 12 Sept adalah ditaja oleh penduduk-penduduk Villa Suria (setiap taman diberi alokasi mengikut giliran), diharapkan warga Villa Suria beragama Islam dapat turun sama untuk membantu dengan kerja persiapan, menghidang, membungkus dan mengemas di morei tersebut.
Beberapa rancangan telah dirancang di bulan Ramadhan ini untuk komuniti kita. Di antaranya ialah rancangan untuk sepakat memasang pelita di hadapan pintu pagar setiap rumah di Villa Suria untuk mengindahkan lagi suasana menyambut shawal yang akan menjelma. Bermula dari puasa ke 16 marilah kita beramai-ramai menyalakan pelita!
Pernahkah anda mengacau dodol? Satu tradisi yang kini makin jarang diamalkan oleh komuniti bandar. Akan diadakan satu aktiviti mengacau dodol pada hari Sabtu 12 September 2009 selepas sembahyang sunat terawih di padang permainan Villa Suria.
Sesiapa yang berminat untuk mengambil bahagian boleh mendaftar nama kepada Tuan Hj Kolonel (B) Zainal 0192181747 sebelum malam Jumaat ini, 11 September 2009. Bayaran sebanyak RM25 dikenakan untuk membeli bahan dan peserta akan diagihkan satu bahagian dodol yang berjaya dimasak. Bagi peserta diingatkan bahawa bukan sahaja sumbangan kewangan saja diperlukan tapi sumbangan tenaga juga perlu dan harus diberikan untuk menjayakan aktiviti memasak dodol ini. Sekian. Terima kasih.

Lawak Gagak : Kisah Kentut
"Doktor , saya ada masalah dengan perut yang selalu berangin , tapi ianya tidak pernah mengganggu saya...kentut saya tak pernah berbau , dan senyap. Jadi saya selalu kentut."
Doktor meminta penjelasan lebih lanjut dari Mr ZORRO itu, dan Mr.ZORRO pun berkata ,
"Sebenarnya , saya sudah kentut sebanyak 20 kali ketika berada dihadapan doktor. Mungkin doktor tak tau sebab kentut saya tidak berbau dan senyap."
Sambil menarik nafas.. dan tersekat2 ..Doktor itu menjawab ,
"Ok , sekarang ambil pil ini dan datang jumpa saya minggu depan."
Seminggu selepas itu , Mr. ZORRO pun kembali.
"Tuan doktor , " panggilnya sambil marah-marah ,
"Saya tak tau pil apa yang yang doktor beri pada saya , tapi sekarang kentut saya... walaupun masih senyap...tapi baunya sangat busuk."
Doktor itu membalas , "Bagus!!! kita sudah mengubati hidung awak yang tersumbat , sekarang , mari saya periksa telinga awak pulak."
Moral of the story
Berjaga-jagalah ketika lepaskan angin tu.. walaupun kita tak bau.. tak dengar.. tak bermakna orang lain pun tak dengar gak !

“Bagus Usop. Terima kasih. Siapa lagi?”, tanya cikgu.
Seorang pelajar perempuan yang duduk di tepi berdiri dan berkata, “Nama saya Noni binti Samad. Kalau besar nanti, Noni nak jadi suri rumah tangga dan mempunyai anak-anak yang comel”.
“Bagus. Jadi suri rumah tangga merupakan cita-cita yang mulia. Siapa lagi?”.
Zainal berdiri dan berkata, “Saya Zainal bin Leman, bila besar nanti saya bercita-cita untuk membantu Noni mencapai cita-citanya…”.

Lawak Gagak : Sembahyang Jumaat
Suatu hari pada masa Sembahyang jumaat yang di hadiri oleh lebih kurang 1,000 jemaah... tiba-tiba masuk dua orang lelaki yang menutupi seluruh tubuhnyer dgn pakaian hitam.. tak nampak apa cuma dua biji mata and membawa mesin gun... lalu salah seorang lelaki tu bertempik :
"Sesiapa yang sanggup MATI kerana ALLAH sila berdiri di tempat kamu"
Selepas mendengar amaran lelaki itu maka segeralah bertempiaran lari para jemaah itu utk menyelamatkan diri..... daripada jumlah yang 1,000 tadi tu hanya tinggal lebih kurang 20 orang sahaja yang masih berdiri di tempat masing-masing termasuk Pak Iman tu...
Lelaki yang bertempik tadi segera membuka tutup mukanya lalu melihat ke arah Pak Imam sambil berkata:
"Ok Pak Iman, saya dah halau SEMUA yang hipokrit, sekarang bolehlah Pak Iman mulakan sembahyang Jumaat"
.... Lalu kedua lelaki tersebut berpaling dan meninggalkan jemaah....
Macammana.. adakah anda rasa lawak dgn cerita di atas. Selain terhibur anda fikirlahlah...

SURAU SANDARAN PERMAI DINAIK TARAF MENJADI MASJID
Kos untuk menaik taraf surau itu dianggarkan berjumlah sekitar 80 ribu. Pihak PPZ (Pusat Pungutan Zakat) Selangor telah pun bersetuju untuk membiayai RM 50 ribu daripada jumlah kos tersebut.
Sehubungan dengan itu, jawatankuasa Surau Taman Sendaran Permai mengalu-alukan sumbangan dari pihak tuan-puan (Villa Suria Residents) untuk menampung kos yang selebihnya. Sebarang kemusyikilan & pertanyaan berhubung sumbangan/derma ini boleh lah dimajukan kepada Tuan Haji Zainal (block H30 - 019-2181747).

3.QUERY/ISSUE - FOGGING : RECENT SUSPECTED CASE HAS BEEN REPORTED. NO ACTION TAKEN.

ACTION 2B TAKEN - SUNWAY WILL PROVIDE THE GUARDS TEMPORARILY WITH HANDPHONE TO BE KEPT AT THE GUARD POST AND A PREPAID LINE BY 17 JUNE 2009. AT THE SAME TIME, SUNWAY WILL APPLY FOR A FIXED LINE FOR THE GUARD POST.
8.QUERY/ISSUE - OVERGROWN BUSHES OUTSIDE THE FENCE NOT CUT OR PROPERLY MAINTAINED.
ACTION 2B TAKEN - SUNWAY HAS AGREED TO CUT THE GRASS BY 26 jUNE 2009. SUNWAY WILL ALSO ASSIST TO SEND A LETTER TO JABATAN PENGAIRAN SELANGOR TO MAINTAIN THE AREA AS THE LAND IS UNDER THEIR CONTROL. SUNWAY WILL ALSO HELP THE COMMITTEE TO DRAFT THE COMMITTEE'S LETTER TO SUPPORT SUNWAY'S LETTER.
(B) CURRENT ISSUES
1.QUERY/ISSUE - COMMITTEE TO PROPOSE DATE OF HANDOVER FROM SUNWAY DEVELOPER TO RA TO BE EARLY NEXT YEAR. RA IS STILL NOT READY. RESIDENTS OCCUPANCY RATE IS AROUND 50% ONLY.
ACTION 2B TAKEN - SUNWAY WILL REVERT ON THIS MATTER AS THEY HAVE TO CONSULT WITH THEIR MANAGEMENT. BUT IN THE MEANWHILE, COMMITTEE WILL EXPEDITE THE PROCEES OF REGISTERING THE RESIDENT ASSOCIATION WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF SUNWAY.
2. QUERY/ISSUE - REQUEST THAT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SURAU BE EXPEDITED AND IF POSSIBLE, THE SURAU CAN BE READY BY EARLY NEXT YEAR.
ACTION 2B TAKEN - SUNWAY INFORMS THAT THERE IS A DELAY IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING WHICH WAS SUPPOSE TO COMMENCE LAST MONTH. ROADWORK LEADING TO SURAU HAS BEEN COMPLETED. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CONTRACTOR TO TAKE THE TENDER. HOWEVER, SUNWAY TARGET COMPLETION TO BE IN FEBRUARY 2010. AMONGST THE ACCESSORIES TO BE PROVIDED IS THE CARPET, THE REST OF THE ACCESSORIES, SUNWAY WILL INFORM LATER DEPENDING ON BUDGET.
3.QUERY/ISSUE - SECURITY ISSUES
ACTION 2B TAKEN – SUNWAY HAS AGREED THAT SECURITY NEEDS TO BE TIGHTEN ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO THE CHECKING OF PEOPLE GOING IN AND OUT OF THE AREA. VISITORS ESPECIALLY CONTRACTORS WILL ALSO BE CHECKED ON THEIR WHEREABOUTS WITHIN THE COMPOUNDS OF VILLA SURIA. SUNWAY HAS AGREED TO PROVIDE BARRIERS GOING IN AND OUT AT THE ENTRY POINT. HEAD OF SECURITY UNDERTAKE TO ENSURE THAT HIS TEAM WILL SHOW IMPROVEMENT. SECURITY WILL KEEP THE COMMITTEE INFORMED OF ANY PROBLEMS FACED AND IF NEED GET THE ASSISTANCE OF THE COMMITTEE TO RESOLVE THE MATTER.
4.QUERY/ISSUE – LAND EROSION (CRACKS IN THE GROUND) NEAR BLOCK A & B, GAZEBO
ACTION 2B TAKEN – SUNWAY WILL CONDUCT AN INSPECTION BY 26 JUNE 2009 AND TAKE ACTION.

GATHERING TO DISCUSS FORMATION OF RESIDENTIAL ASSOCIATION

The purpose of this gathering is to brief the residents on the formation of our Resident Association as the developer, Sunway has indicated that hand over period is approaching. Many issues will be discussed with regards to this matter and we hope to reach a general consensus in order to move forward. We will also be collecting details of the residents and their household for the purpose of our records.
We urge all residents/purchasers of the Villa Suria Cluster homes to attend this very important meeting. As there is constrain of time for the night, everyone is reminded to come early before the briefing starts.

As per the itinerary above, there will also be a potluck dinner after the briefing. Each house is free to bring any kind of food to the gathering but if possible, we would greatly appreciate it if each house follows the designated categories of food as allocated to each block (which was decided by pull of vote) as listed below :-

Main Dishes : Block B, E & F
Fruits & drinks : Block D & H
In order to fund the above gathering and the dinner , the Pro Tem Committee has decided to ask and collect some monetary contribution from each house.
Minimum contribution per household : RM 15 only

PRO-TEM COMMITTEE 1st MEETING WITH DEVELOPER, SUNWAY
Thursday, 15th January 2009, Monterez Club – The Villa Suria Pro-Tem Committee recently met up with representatives of Sunway, the developer of Sunway Alam Suria at the Monterez Clubhouse CafĂ©. This meeting was arranged at the request of the Pro-Tem Committee to highlight a few community issues as well as a first step towards creating bilateral relationship with Sunway.
Attendees for this inaugural meeting are as follows :-
For Sunway :-

For Villa Suria :-

Amongst the issues discussed in the meeting are as follows (actions to be taken are highlighted in blue) :-
1. Query/Issues : Sunway’s development plan in terms of the construction of the Surau for Sunway Alam Suria.
§ Sunway has allocated a parcel of land approximately 1 acre in its development plan for Sunway Alam Suria’s surau. According to Sunway, they have allocated a budget of about RM200K for the construction.
§ The Committee has requested that Sunway keep the Committee in the loop including in the planning, construction and design of the Surau as the Committee may contemplate to get involved in the development of the Surau including the possibility of gathering further contributions to increase the budget for its construction. An 'Open Line' for discussion is requested by the Committee with Sunway.
2. Issues/Query : Reinforcing the walls of drains near wall fence (besides the outside main road) as there have been incidents of soil erosions and drain collapse due to rapid flow of water especially after rain.
§ Sunway has tasked Project Engineer,En. Shahril to observe and study the problem especially during rain fall. Sunway undertake to the Committee that they will find a permanent solution to this matter.
3. Issues/Query : Damage to surface of badminton court caused by Sunway Construction’s heavy machinery.
§ Sunway undertake to repair the damaged surface as soon as possible.
4. Issues/Query : Request for fogging as there are a number of suspected chukugunya/dengue cases in surrounding areas.
§ Sunway informs us that fogging for the housing area is usually conducted by Ministry of Health or the local authority and usually happens when an outbreak has been detected.
§ However as they are required to do routine fogging of their ‘kongsi’ , Sunway has agreed that they will bring extra pesticide each time when they conduct the fogging at the ‘kongsi’ and Sunway will help to do fogging at Villa Suria as well. Sunway will forward the Fogging Schedule of the ‘kongsi’ to the Committee.
5. Issues/Query : Improve communication line and information/notice distribution between residents and Sunway.
§ Committee highlighted the failure in the issuance of important notices or the breakdown of the distribution of such notices to the residents by Sunway. Example : Notice for extension period of temporary road closure not issued, no road signage to direct traffic to temporary entrance and notice of temporary electricity closure was not sent to all residents.
§ Sunway realize the importance of these notices reaching the residents and apologized for inconvenience caused. Sunway will work on improving its communication with the residents and improve on its distribution of notices. The Committee agree to assist Sunway to communicate any important information to the residents, if required.
§ Sunway will re-introduce the helpdesk at the show house for residents to meet with the representatives of Sunway if they have queries or any defect complaints
6. Issues/Query : Construction of additional drainage to overcome the problem of overflowing rain water causing mudflow problems affecting a few houses in Villa Suria.
§ Sunway has tasked Project Engineer,En. Shahril to observe and study the problem especially during rain fall. Sunway undertake to the Committee that they will find a permanent solution to this matter.
7. Issues/Query : Continual maintenance of street lights including blown light bulbs;
§ Sunway undertakes to replace the blown bulbs and continually maintain the street lights.
§ Sunway to look into and fix (permanent fix and not just provide temporary measure) the cause of the electrical failure which caused sparks to the lights at the basketball court
8. Issues/Query : Renovation and construction during weekends and public holidays;
§ The Committee and Sunway has agreed to try for a period of one (1) month from the date of the meeting for the security to enforce strict entry screening and also to prohibit all construction/renovation works during weekends and public holidays.
§ This measure will be reassessed after the lapse of the test period
9. Issues/ Query : Contact number of the guard post in case of emergencies.
§ As the guard post does not have a fixed line telephone, Sunway has agreed to provide a temporary handphone to the guards (kept at the guard post) for residents to call in case of emergencies.
§ The handphone number shall be distributed to all residents.
10. Issues/Queries : The Committee highlighted that the bushes/grass outside the fence near the playground has become overgrown and is the pathway used by foreign workers. The residents are worried of their safety in terms of wild animals and trespassing. Therefore the residents request that the bushes/grasses be cleared.
§ Sunway agreed to periodically clear the overgrown bushes/grass
11. Issues/Queries : Request that a BBQ pit , lights, power and water point be installed at the playground gazebo for purpose of residential gathering/activities.
§ Sunway informs the Committee that the plan for the playground has been submitted to MBSA for approval and that they will have difficulty to hand over to MBSA if any changes is made. However once the responsibility is handed over to the RA, Sunway has verbally agreed to assist to construct and install the BBQ pit, the lights, power points and water pipe at the said Gazebo.
12. Issues/Queries : Request that workout facilities be put up at the playground (eg. facility to do heaving, sit ups etc).
§ Sunway has agreed to put up the said facilities.

MALAM BBQ VILLA SURIA, 3 Januari 2009
Pada malam Sabtu 3 hb Januari 2009, satu jamuan makan BBQ telah dianjurkan bertempat di gazebo dan gelanggang bola keranjang, taman permainan kawasan Villa Suria. Majlis ini lebih tertumpu kepada penduduk-penduduk Villa Suria yang telah pindah masuk ke rumah masing-masing yang kini sudah meningkat jumlahnya serta keluarga mereka.
Seperti biasa, Pro-Tem Committee yang kini semakin ramai ahlinya, telah membuat perancangan rapi serta sistematik dalam usahanya menganjur dan menjayakan jamuan ini. Perancangan yang berminggu serta sumbangan ikhlas dari penduduk-penduduk sama ada kewangan atau sebaliknya telah membolehkan majlis ini dianjurkan dengan jayanya. Pembahagian kerja yang lebih terperinci telah membolehkan ramai lagi penduduk turut serta dalam menyumbangkan tenaga mereka secara bergotong-royong. Diharapkan ramai lagi penduduk akan turut turun padang di majlis atau aktiviti Villa Suria yang akan datang. Bagi mereka yang telah bertungkus lumus menjayakan majlis ini, kami ingin mengambil peluang ini untuk mengucapkan ribuan terimah kasih.
Mengenai makanan pada malam itu, pelbagai juadah telah disediakan sebagai santapan dan diantaranya adalah ikan bakar, udang bakar, BBQ lamb, ayam BBQ, sosej, otak-otak, ikan dan sotong bakar ala Portugis dan pelbagai lagi. Malah ramai penduduk telah dengan baik hati membawa juadah sampingan secara 'pot luck' ke jamuan malam itu.
Akhir kata, malam jamuan BBQ itu dirasakan telah berjaya mencapai tujuan utamanya iaitu mengerat lagi tali perhubungan diantara penduduk-penduduk Villa Suria terutamanya begi mereka yang telah berpindah. Oleh kerana makin ramai penduduk yang akan berpindah dalam masa terdekat, mungkin Pro Tem Committee akan mempertimbangkan untuk menganjur banyak lagi jamuan sebegini di masa akan datang, Sekian .
